How we research, source, review and correct what we publish.

Sources

We rely first on Korean government and public-agency sources: the Ministry of Health and Welfare, the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service (HIRA), the Korea Health Industry Development Institute (Medical Korea), the Korean Law Information Center and the immigration portal. Every guide names the sources on which it relies, and every figure carries its source and the period it describes. See our sources.

Review and updates

Each page shows the date on which it was last reviewed. When a rule or a figure changes, we update the page and the date of review.

Independence

No hospital, clinic or agency pays for content, placement or ranking on this site. Directory listings come from official records and are ordered mechanically, by facility type and then by name.

What our guides are not

Our guides are general information, not medical advice. Only a doctor who has examined you can say whether a treatment is right for you.

Corrections

Should you find an error, write to contact@hospitalsinkorea.com. We shall review it and, where we are wrong, correct the page and its date of review.
